Wetter, Cooler Summer Means More Fleas

Some pest control workers are up to their ankles in fleas, a bigger than normal problem they attribute in part to humid, cooler conditions this summer.
“We’re having a lot more call backs on fleas and the problems people are having are a lot worse, like there’s just a lot more of them,” Tim Adams, vice president of Adams Pest Control, said Monday. “Use to, when you’d go and do a flea job you wouldn’t really notice them, but now if someone is having a problem with fleas you’d better tuck your pants into your socks or they’re going to get all over you.”
