Take Tapazole (Methimazole) by mouth, usually 3 times a day (every 8 hours) or as directed by your doctor.

Take Tapazole (Methimazole) exactly as prescribed. Do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed. Your condition will not improve faster, but side effects may be increased.

A very serious allergic reaction to Tapazole (Methimazole) is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of the following symptoms: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
